Simon joined Jeddart Chambers in 2008, practicing predominately in personal injuries and aviation law.
Before being called to the bar, Simon was the In-house Counsel for two well-known aviation industry organisations, namely Boeing Australia and the Brisbane Airport Corporation.
After graduating from his law degree (with honours), Simon worked for Blake Dawson Waldron in the insurance personal injury and aviation/maritime law section.
But law wasn’t Simon’s first career.
Upon leaving high school, Simon completed a degree in Biomedical Science, majoring in haematology and biochemistry. After working for a private pathology company for three (3) years, he decided to fulfil his lifelong dream of flying, by becoming a pilot in the Royal Australian Navy.
Despite moving into the law after leaving the military, Simon remains an avid pilot who spends as much time as possible in the air in light aircraft.
